2026 Athfest Guide

What is Athfest?

AthFest is a free, three-day festival held annually in downtown Athens, GA, celebrating the city's thriving creative scene. Each year, thousands gather to enjoy live performances from local and regional musicians, browse work by talented visual artists, and take in the electric atmosphere that makes Athens one of the coolest cities in the U.S.

The festival features three outdoor stages packed with live music, a block-long Artist Market showcasing dozens of artists and makers, and a fun-filled KidsFest area so even the youngest fans can enjoy music and art.

When the outdoor stages wind down on Friday and Saturday nights, the official AthFest Club Crawl takes over, with music venues across town hosting stacked lineups of local talent.

AthFest also supports a great cause—proceeds benefit AthFest Educates, a nonprofit that funds music and arts education for K-12 students in Athens.

What is the Athfest Club Crawl?

The AthFest Club Crawl is the official late-night celebration of the AthFest Music & Arts Festival, taking place on Friday and Saturday nights after the outdoor stages shut down. With a Club Crawl Pass, music lovers can explore Athens’ legendary nightlife and enjoy stacked lineups of local talent at multiple venues throughout downtown.
